We are seeking a motivated undergraduate or master's level student to join our research team for a Research Internship. The Research Intern will work on projects at the intersection of quantum computing and artificial intelligence (AI) to address complex problems in chemistry and materials science. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a rapidly evolving field and contribute to groundbreaking research.

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or master's program in Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field.
  • Submit a minimum of two reference letters, a cover letter, and any relevant work or research samples.
  • Proficient foundational knowledge in quantum computing and AI.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, C++, or similar.
  • Experience with quantum computing programming frameworks and AI/ML libraries.
  • Advanced coursework in chemistry, materials science, or a related discipline.
  • Previous research experience in quantum computing, AI, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with computational chemistry and materials science software (e.g., Gaussian, VASP).
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools.
  • Publications or presentations in relevant conferences or journals.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficient analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
  • A passion for research and a keen interest in the intersection of quantum computing, AI, and materials science.
