The Research & Instruction Librarian for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) contributes to the Library's campus-wide focus on transformative teaching and learning in the Ignatian liberal arts tradition. In addition to regular faculty responsibilities, the Research & Instruction Librarian for STEM supports subject areas in the natural sciences and mathematics through information literacy instruction, research support, and collection development, and serves as a resource in integrating instruction about emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) into the curriculum, with attention to information literacy concepts that connect to AI and ethical considerations and applications of AI when doing research.
