About The Position

The Dallas Mavericks are looking for qualified applicants to experience a professional work environment by assisting the Sr. Vice President, Business Development with a variety of independent and group projects. This internship will provide hands-on experience in business development within a sports organization.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as an Undergrad in a Jr. or 4-year college with a preferred concentration in Finance, Economics, Psychology, Business Intelligence, Marketing Research, or Sports Management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to prioritize workload, manage multiple projects at once, and take initiative.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work closely with other employees, vendors, fans, and customers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the development of advanced economic models, including assessments of market conditions, competitive pressures, and business challenges.
• Prepare comprehensive presentations and deal sheets that effectively communicate business development opportunities to both internal and external stakeholders.
