The Research Finance Analyst will be responsible for building, maintaining and operationalizing all aspects of research financials.

Requirements

  • 4 year / Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience and education.
  • CareConnect training within associated applications (Within 60 days of hire), Epic Research Certification (Obtained within six months to one year of hire) (Required)
  • In lieu of the above education requirements, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Must demonstrate intermediate competency in the use of the Internet and the following Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Ability to use customer service skills to provide an exceptional experience
  • Ability to perform basic computer functions
  • Ability to be detail oriented
  • Ability to be organized
  • Ability to think critically and independently resolve problems
  • Must be able to prioritize tasks; work well under stress, meet aggressive timelines, and problem solve to quickly and tactfully manage challenging situations concerning customer groups
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours if needed

Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains all research financials including study budget negotiations, coverage analysis, billing review in EMR and invoicing for study procedures
  • Completes all financial transactions and maintains financial tracking for the Office of Research Administration
  • Understands and communicates trends in research and research billing. Works with research and IT teams on translating these trends into esigning, building and implementing enhancements to the Community Care Connect system to align with national IT initiatives, CHNw Information Technology strategies and goals
  • Serves as advisor and participant as the organization addresses financial data management within the research context
