Job Summary The Department of Population Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute is currently seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow. The Postdoctoral Fellow will participate in studies that evaluate associations of early life exposures with health outcomes in adolescents and young adults, using data from the longitudinal pre-birth Project Viva cohort (www.projectviva.org).The candidate will work under the supervision of Drs. Emily Oken and Marie-France Hivert. The fellow will be employed by the Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute and will be appointed as a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard Medical School.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze large, complex data from multiple sources, such as survey data, environmental and dietary exposure data, and research visit data
  • Make effective presentations of the analysis results to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Prepare articles for peer-reviewed publications, as well as reports and presentations
  • Participate in team meetings to help shape the direction of the existing research projects
  • Develop new research ideas or help prepare proposals
  • Perform out-of-the-box thinking, collaborate with others, and make a difference every day!
  • Other duties and projects as assigned
