The Steadman Philippon Research Institute is known throughout the world for our research into the causes, prevention, and treatment of orthopaedic disorders. SPRI offers a Research Fellow position to advance its research mission and to provide a unique opportunity for research participation to future clinicians, scientists, and engineers. Research Fellows support Steadman Philippon Research Institutes staff in research tasks for the Center for Outcomes-Based Orthopaedic Research (COOR). Major Responsibilities/Essential Functions (may vary depending on department): Preparing and conducting experimental lab procedures. Conducting literature reviews. Compiling research data, preparing presentations. Writing manuscripts for journal publication. Book chapters. Case reports and surgical technique papers. Co-authorship is attainable for research assistants according to the same policy that applies to all SPRI researchers (ICMJE guidelines). Maintain personal commitment to the Steadman Philippon Research Institutes Foundation’s mission and values. Maintain confidentiality of acquired information. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor. Classification: Employment duration of one-year or less, full-time, non-exempt position with Temporary Full-time benefits plus monthly rent stipend reimbursement with proof of valid lease.
