About The Position
The Research Fellow at Sanofi Intrepide will be responsible for driving innovation and scientific leadership within the organization. This role involves monitoring scientific breakthroughs in Sanofi's business-focused areas and identifying opportunities to enrich and accelerate the R&D pipeline. The Research Fellow will conduct sophisticated analyses of emerging scientific domains to identify non-obvious breakthrough opportunities and generate transformative innovations that fundamentally advance therapeutic development. Responsibilities include conducting trend analysis, producing white papers, reports, presentations, and publications on innovation themes, and serving as a scientific mentor to the Research Laboratories. The position may also involve leading an Intrépide Research Lab to overcome scientific and technical challenges and advance projects. Additionally, the Research Fellow will mentor teams in formulating proposals for review by the Intrépide Board and chair the proposal evaluation committee to ensure the quality and strategic fitness of proposals. The role requires applying first principles thinking to overcome scientific barriers, contributing to translational strategies, and establishing cutting-edge methodologies for experimental design. The Research Fellow will also establish strategic relationships with key opinion leaders and identify emerging technologies to synthesize actionable proposals for the Intrépide Research Labs.
