About The Position

The purpose of this position is to conduct independent and collaborative research supporting the laboratory’s mission to investigate molecular mechanisms of genome maintenance and cellular stress responses. The successful candidate will contribute to ongoing funded research projects and advance the lab’s scientific productivity.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in molecular and/or cellular biology techniques
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
  • Commitment to maintaining a collaborative research environment
  • Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Nice To Haves

  • PhD in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, or a related field
  • Research experience in genome stability, DNA repair, or protein ubiquitination
  • Documented experience in cell line development including shRNA-mediate regulation of protein expression and tet-regulatable gene expression.
  • Experience with recombinant protein expression and purification.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute experiments in molecular and cellular biology
  • Analyze/interpret experimental data using appropriate statistical and computational approaches
