About The Position

The Department of Pediatrics is looking for a Research Engineering Scientist Assistant. This is a one-year fixed term position, renewable based upon availability of funding, work performance, and progress toward research goals. This is a grant funded position with an end date of 7/31/26 and renewable based upon availability of funding.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with some wet lab experience.
• Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Perform tissue culture including organoid culture and related molecular and biochemical analysis.
• Assist with mouse maintenance and experiments (colony management, embryo collection, genotyping).
• Miscellaneous work (including checking lab inventory and package management).
• Other related duties as assigned.
