The Novonesis R&D Summer Internship Program Overview Our internships run for 12 weeks and require a full-time, 40 hour per week commitment. This is a non-exempt, hourly position with a pay rate of $23 per hour. The 2026 summer internship program will begin in June, following the completion of the spring academic term. To be eligible, you must have Junior/Senior university class standing by Fall 2026. Recent graduates are also welcome to apply. Research and Development Internships We will hire 4-6 interns in 2026. Interns will be assigned to work directly with a researcher in one of the following areas: Molecular Biology Molecular Genomics Protein Chemistry Microbiology and Microbial Physiology (areas of specialization include Robotics Screening and Fermentation). Data science Genomics/bioinformatics

Requirements

  • Enrollment in a BS degree program for Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry or related concentration or a recent graduate degree
  • Hands-on laboratory experience, including use of analytical equipment
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Junior/Senior university class standing by Fall 2026
