Under the general direction of the Deputy Chief of Administration, the RDS III will develop and utilize research methodology and techniques in areas where precedents are lacking, or a sparse body of knowledge or experience in the California Firefighter Cancer Prevention and Research Program. The RDS III will work independently and perform the more responsible, varied complex technical and analytical staff services functions related to the program at the full journey level.
