Working Conditions This position in located in the Riverpoint Marketplace area of West Sacramento (10 minutes from downtown), near the IKEA. Our building offers a free parking lot to employees and is within walking distance of numerous restaurants and shops. This position is eligible for a hybrid telework option, in accordance with CAL FIRE's telework policy, and will be required to report to the office as needed/required. STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS Research Data Specialist II - Statement of Qualifications When preparing your Statement of Qualifications, please follow these guidelines: Responses must be typewritten using a 12-point font with 1" margins. Limit your response to two pages. Single-spaced is allowed. 1. Please describe your experience leading or supporting projects that include defining the research need, project planning, data gathering and analysis, reporting, and presenting findings to general audiences. Please include methods used for data acquisition, cleaning, analysis, and reporting of findings; including statistical software programs used. Please also include how you effectively communicate findings to broad stakeholder groups including boards or commissions. 2. Describe your experience managing or supporting technology research projects or technology "Proof of Concept". Include specific examples that include the research need, industry or field being studied, data sources and methods used for data analysis, and how you evaluate outcomes resulting from your efforts. Also include how and to whom findings were communicated.
