Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; preferred degree is a Bachelor's degree.
  • Two years of related experience required; no experience required with a preferred degree.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains processes for controlling material flow for the Research Histology Core Laboratory (RHCL) including archival processes and data entry into case report forms.
  • Interacts professionally with requesters, research nurses, principal investigators, and other departments in clinical trials, serving as a liaison and coordinating data.
  • Coordinates activities of RHCL research projects, including retrieving and distributing patient/specimen samples from clinical research entities.
  • Utilizes iLabs and Epic/Beaker systems for tracking and monitoring turnaround times, providing quality customer service to principal investigators.
  • Maintains general laboratory inventory supplies.
