This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement that may include a partially remote work location, consistent with System Office policy. UNC Chapel Hill employees are generally required to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of their assigned duty station. The Research Coordinator/Interventionist will work on a study focusing on school-based suicide prevention programming. They will be responsible for the day-to-day implementation of the study protocol and data collection at the school sites. Research Coordinators/Interventionists will become certified to deliver Signs of Suicide ( SOS ) and Youth Aware Mental Health ( YAM ) programs while in the position, completing study staff trainings for both interventions at the beginning of the study and participating in ongoing consultation for each intervention throughout the intervention implementation period in Building Resilience in Teens through Education ( BRITE ). They will be responsible for completing study measures related to the delivery of and fidelity to the study interventions. Travel to school research sites required. The Research Coordinator/Interventionist will facilitate the coordination of study recruitment, informed consent, and research visits/assessments for study participants at their assigned schools. They will serve as a resource for school partners as needed to provide problem-solving assistance regarding study-related procedures. They will be responsible for data collection, data entry, data proofing and cleaning, and resolving data queries. They will assist as needed with scheduling of meetings, organization and distribution of all meeting minutes and study communications, processing of travel reimbursements, ordering of supplies, and finalization and ordering of study materials. This is a time-limited position.
