This role is pivotal in coordinating activities that support various research and engineering projects. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of five years of relevant administrative experience, complemented by strong communication, organizational, and computer skills. Proficiency in Excel is essential, and prior experience in a laboratory or medical setting is strongly preferred. As a Research Coordinator, you will be responsible for tracking inventory to ensure a consistent supply of lab materials, including monitoring expiration dates and placing vendor orders. You will also coordinate both external and internal sterilization orders, manage product orders from inventory, and oversee the calibration and preventative maintenance of lab equipment. Additionally, you will facilitate the creation and updating of Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions in accordance with the Quality Management System. Your role will also involve financial reconciliation of costs and services related to the Orthobiologics Team, generating purchase requisitions, and maintaining financial metrics. The position requires effective communication with engineers, vendors, stakeholders, and other departmental personnel, utilizing appropriate terminology. You will manage priorities and deliverables for multiple simultaneous projects, ensuring that all tasks are completed according to the established schedule. The role may involve up to 10% travel, providing opportunities for professional growth and collaboration with external partners.
