The Contract Support Specialist - Lead will focus on Contract Life Cycle Management at Texas Health. This position is based at the Texas Health Corporate office in Arlington, TX, with the possibility of remote work at the manager's discretion. The role is full-time, requiring 40 hours per week during standard business hours (8:00am-5:00pm). The department emphasizes teamwork, mentorship, and comprehensive training, providing dedicated leadership resources to ensure a supportive work environment.

  • Lead a primary focus contracting group for Research, Clinical Research Services, CTAs, and MSAs, responsible for outcomes, refinement of tools, application, business processes, and policies.
  • Gather requirements to configure the Icertis application, including contract types, data attributes, contract forms, templates, clauses, and approval workflows.
  • Oversee the entire contract lifecycle from initial request in Icertis or ServiceNow through execution, renewal, and termination.
  • Ensure contracts comply with legal standards and company policies, identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with contracts.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal, technology, provider, revenue cycle, and finance teams, to gather requirements and ensure contract terms meet business needs.
  • Provide training and support to users of the Icertis platform, contract requesters, and contract owners to ensure effective utilization and adherence to best practices.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records in the Icertis system, ensuring all contract data is properly entered and managed.
  • Generate reports and analyze contract data to provide insights and support decision-making processes.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is required.
  • 5 years of contract administration experience in biotech, pharma, hospital, healthcare, or legal environment is required.
  • 5 years of CLM experience and working knowledge of contract language and laws and regulations is preferred.
