About The Position

The Research Associate position at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center involves performing a variety of routine and specialized laboratory tests and experimental procedures aimed at contributing to original research efforts. This role is integral to the Center for Immunotherapy and supports larger research initiatives led by independent investigators.

Requirements

• Master's degree and eighteen (18) months of full-time professional research experience in a laboratory, clinical or scientific research environment; or
• Bachelor's degree and thirty (30) months of full-time professional research experience in a laboratory, clinical or scientific research environment.

Nice To Haves

• Hands-on experience with the manufacture of cell therapy products (dendritic, T cells, viral vector production).
• Experience working in a GMP cleanroom environment.
• Knowledge of FACT, cGMP, and FDA biologics regulations.
• Project management skills and experience as a team/trainer in a GMP setting.
• Familiarity with tools in cell therapy or blood processing laboratories (e.g., CliniMACS Plus, CliniMACS Prodigy, Cocoon).
• Experience with blood processing techniques (Manual Ficoll, CliniMACS Plus / CliniMACS Prodigy, PCR/qPCR).
• Experience with BSC and GMP.
