About The Position

The Research Associate position at Mississippi State University focuses on ungulate movement in relation to chronic wasting disease (CWD) status. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in ecology, biology, natural resource management, or a related field.
• Capability to conduct work in common programming environments (R or Python).
• Demonstrated experience in quantitative ecology and computer programming.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a trans-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Examine ungulate movement as a function of CWD status.
• Work with stakeholders to complete the identified project objective.
• Participate in oral and written communications with participating scientists and stakeholders.
• Disseminate knowledge at conferences and meetings.
