About The Position

Dr. Yong (Tiger) Zhang’s laboratory of the Department of Pharmacology & Pharmaceutical Sciences at USC School of Pharmacy is seeking a Research Associate to conduct research on protein post-translational modifications, antibody engineering, and preclinical design of chemotherapeutic and immunotherapeutic agents to treat cancer, immune disorders, and infectious diseases. Strong background in biochemistry or chemical biology is preferred. The individual should be highly self-motivated and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Research experience in biochemistry or chemical biology is required. Knowledge of cell culturing and protein expression and purification is a plus. Qualifications: Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Biochemistry or related field. Preferred Experience: Biochemistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences experience preferred. The annual salary for this position is $70,745.28.
