About The Position
Preqin's Research team is responsible for maintaining our online databases and products. In addition, they contribute towards producing financial publications and analysis for ad hoc requests from clients and the press when required. This role is responsible for contacting fund managers and institutional investors, building relationships with them, and gathering information regarding their investment preferences, funds managed, deals, and performance data. Preqin's clients expect and depend on its data to be of the highest quality, something Research Associates are expected to contribute towards. They may also contribute towards producing bespoke data analysis for Preqin users and the financial press, as well as Preqin's reports and publications. In the data management scheme, a Research Associate serves as a Data Custodian, reporting to the domain's designated Data Steward.
