The Needleman lab is seeking to hire two research associates to develop and apply theoretical and computational approaches to study complex cell biological systems. The emphasis will be on combining statistical inferences and biophysical modeling to analyze single cell cross-sectional data, such as single-cell omics, cellular electron microscopy, and optical microscopy data sets. Additional work may entail integrating large-scale cross-sectional data with more limited time-course information.

  • At least 2 years of directly applicable postdoc experience
  • Prior experience with random matrix theory
  • Statistical inference
  • Active matter
  • Biophysical modeling
