About The Position

As a Research Associate III at Immunome, Inc., you will be a key contributor to our research and development initiatives, driving the optimization and delivery of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs). In this role, you will design, produce, and characterize ADCs in support of program-specific objectives, while collaborating closely with cross-functional partners. Your expertise in bioconjugation will provide critical insights that help advance our therapeutic pipeline and strengthen our scientific capabilities.

Requirements

  • BS or MS in Biochemistry, Chemistry, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience (or 3 years of experience for MS) in preclinical drug development in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proficiency in bioconjugation techniques and demonstrated experience in ADC pre-clinical development is a requirement.
  • Proficient in analytical techniques and purification methods relevant to biologics and ADC development (SEC, HIC, PLRP, and LC-MS, etc).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate scientific concepts to non-scientific stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in antibody engineering and protein modification is a plus.
  • Experience with Agilent OpenLab and Benchling is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Generate high quality ADCs to enable advancement of named programs.
  • Evaluate innovative bioconjugation and linker technologies.
  • Assess developability of discovery stage ADCs.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to plan experiments aimed at advancing drug development projects.
  • Independently perform laboratory experiments in accordance with established protocols, maintaining the highest standards of scientific rigor, documentation, and data integrity.
  • Continuously optimize laboratory processes to improve workflow efficiency, reproducibility, and throughput.
  • Manage ADC inventory and coordinate delivery of samples to cross-functional partners.
  • Characterize biophysical properties of ADCs using various techniques, such as analytical SEC, HIC, PLRP, and LC-MS.
  • Interpret results and draw meaningful conclusions to guide decision-making.
  • Collaborate with colleagues from diverse scientific disciplines to achieve project goals.
  • Participate in project team meetings, providing expertise and insights to drive projects forward.
  • Stay informed about the latest bioconjugation advancements in the ADC field.
  • Proactively seek opportunities for professional development and contribute to the scientific growth of the research team.
