Job Overview: This position requires the ability to perform and independently interpret molecular cloning, lentivirus production, and cell line generation. The successful candidate will be tasked with duties in cell biology. This position will also include data entry and general lab maintenance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree of 2 years’ experience, or master’s degree in biological sciences or equivalent.
  • Hands-on experience in cell biology is required.
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills are essential.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic Knowledge of primary cell engineering techniques is preferred.
  • Skills in Multicolor FACS (Flow Cytometry), qPCR, and ELISA are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine miniprep/Maxiprep of plasmid DNA, maintain a high-quality plasmid DNA inventory for lentivirus production.
  • Perform routine lentivirus production and quality control tasks.
  • Maintain, handle, and engineer various cell lines or primary cells; develop and optimize cell-based assays to support cell line development.
  • Prepare media, reagents, and other materials necessary for experiments.
  • Handles documentation needed for project validation and product quality control; keeps an updated laboratory and database record with project details and information.
  • Ensures lab cleanliness and safety by maintaining equipment and technician attire and maintain accurate and detailed records of experimental procedures and results.
  • Maintains common lab supply stocks as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
