The Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at Carnegie Mellon is seeking a Research Associate II to Supervise research related to the measurement of Ba in soils and Interface with our industry sponsors. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered.
• Successful background check

Responsibilities

• Collects, verifies and manages data.
• Performs data analysis in order to produce reports.
• Documents and processes results.
• Develops quantitative models.
• Contributes to overall project planning and acts as lead to coordinate portions of a large project or study.
• Ensures project deadlines are met.
• Maintains administrative records.
• Tracks and adheres to established budgets.
• May program software in support of job functions.
• With some supervision, designs experiments and research protocols.
• Writes and edits recommendations and reports.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
