About The Position
As a Research Associate (RA) you will work independently in the day to day laboratory operation collecting and reviewing data for the Laboratory Sciences department. Responsibilities include supporting the activities of various service groups including ligand binding, flow cytometry, molecular biology and LCMS/MS, as needed. The RA participates in the creation of study worksheets, SOP’s and other controlled documents as assigned, and provides support for general laboratory equipment and maintenance as assigned.
Requirements
- BS (preferred) or AS degree in scientific discipline or equivalent education and laboratory experience
- 1-3 years of relevant LC-MS laboratory experience
- Basic to Intermediate computer skills.
Responsibilities
- Laboratory Maintenance (cleaning, ordering supplies, equipment PM, etc.).
- Collect and organize laboratory data according to the appropriate oversight document (ex: Protocol, Analytical Study Plan, SOPs).
- Create and/or revise SOP and SOP forms.
- Work independently in study-related tasks.
- Perform quality control review of laboratory and study records.
- Assist with method development activities.
