About The Position

The Department of Mathematics at the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, VA, invites applications for a Research Associate and Lecturer position. Requirements

• On track to receive a Ph.D. in Mathematics or a closely related field by June 2026.
• Must hold a Ph.D. at the time of appointment.
• Evidence of outstanding accomplishments and promise in both research and teaching.
• Strong priority for applicants working in Geometric Group Theory and its connections to Logic and Group Actions on Manifolds.
• Preference for candidates who have received their Ph.D. within the last three years.

Responsibilities
