About The Position

The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining lab cultures, grow plants under control conditions, making growth media, general buffers and frequently used reagents as working solutions from stock solutions. They will assist graduate students in their ongoing experiments to study plant stress tolerance and keep lab supplies, instruments and working spaces organized.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Biology or related field.
• One year of related experience.
• Specific experience in plant biology/molecular biology/cell biology/genetics lab.

Nice To Haves

• Proficient in Grow plants under control conditions.
• Make general lab culture media and use of basic instruments used in molecular biology labs.
• Keeping records and organization skills.
