Research Assistant - Pallesen Lab
About The Position
The Wistar Institute is seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant to work in the laboratory of Dr. Jesper Pallesen in the Vaccine & Immunotherapy Center at The Wistar Institute. The Pallesen lab is interested in employing cryo-EM structural biology and computational protein design to explore the human immune response to infectious diseases and to develop vaccines and cancer immunotherapeutics. Requirements
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a science-related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience) is required
- Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the following areas is preferred: general molecular biology techniques, mammalian cell culture, (membrane) protein purification, chromatography or structural biology
Responsibilities
- Lab management such as purchasing and stocking laboratory supplies
