The mission of the Opportunity and Inclusive Growth Institute (Institute) in the Research Division at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis is to conduct and promote research that will increase economic opportunity and inclusive growth and help the Federal Reserve achieve its maximum employment mandate. Thus, its research focuses on understanding the evolution and drivers of labor market outcomes in America. Institute economists conduct academic research and support the policy process. The Research Assistant position is responsible for supporting the Institute Director, staff economists, and visiting scholars in fulfilling this mission. Expected start date will be Spring/Summer 2026 This position requires access to restricted data, which is limited to U.S. citizens.
