The College of Pharmacy is looking for a Part-time Research Assistant to serve as a member of the Pharmaceutical Sciences team. We desire an individual who subscribes to and supports our commitment as stated above. The successful applicant will bring an expert level of experience to the position and understand the demands of supporting executives in a fast-paced environment. This person must be professional, enjoy working in a high-volume environment and be able to apply strong organizational skills while being flexible in their daily routine. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • No required experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related disciplines.
  • Master's degree
  • Ability to conduct chemical synthesis of multistep reaction.
  • Ability to conduct different Chemical synthesis, interpret, and analyze data, compile results, prepare reports, and present their conclusions.

Responsibilities

  • The research assistant will intensively participate in chemical synthesis.
  • The assigned work will be extended to collect, interpret, and analyze data, compile results, prepare reports, and present their conclusions.
  • Under the supervision of Pl and other team members, the research assistant will assist in collecting data from different databases, and to analyze the preliminary data.
  • The research assistant will also participate in poster and podium presentations of the collected results.
  • May provide supervision of laboratory and student workers.
