This part-time Research Assistant position is located in Mobile, Alabama. It is part of Department of Psychology and Human Development at Vanderbilt University and works closely with partners at the Mobile County Public School System and the University of South Alabama. The research assistant supports the work of the R01 grant "Preventing Youth Violence Through Building Equitable Communities", and will perform a range of specialized and unique duties including qualitative and quantitative data collection at participating schools, quality assurance with human subjects, and sorting of confidential data files. The Department of Psychology and Human Development at Vanderbilt University is a group of scholars who work to increase understanding of basic psychological functioning and neuropsychological development in various contexts. The department offers a doctoral degree in Psychological Sciences jointly with the Department of Psychology in the College of Arts and Science, with concentrations in clinical science, cognition in context, cognitive neuroscience, developmental science, neuroscience, and quantitative methods.
