The Department of Ophthalmology seeks outstanding candidates for full-time Research Assistant or Senior Research Assistant positions at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine. The selected candidates will be responsible for assisting with ocular cell biology, biochemistry and microscopy experiments as part of a newly NIH-funded research project. This involves preparing biological and other specimens for imaging and ocular cell biological and biochemical testing and to acquire and analyze related data. These positions will assist in maintaining the ocular cell biology, biochemistry and microscopy equipment, order routine supplies, prepare technical reports and archive data. These are research opportunities be part of a highly qualified research group to advance ocular research in further hopes of developing cures/treatment for vision degenerative conditions. This is a 12-month full-time contract, benefit eligible, unranked academic position.
