Research Assistant Professor
About The Position
The Lampe Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering invites applications for a Research Assistant Professor in the fields of Human Movement Biomechanics and Rehabilitation Engineering to conduct research supported by the resources and infrastructure of the UNC Applied Biomechanics Laboratory. Proposed research agendas should be consistent with the laboratory’s core mission: “to engineer solutions to help people age gracefully.” Successful applicants will have demonstrated the clear potential to establish a competitive independent research program and must have an interest in developing collaborations with both basic science researchers and clinical investigators.

- Evidence of excellence in mentorship and/or advising of students/trainees at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Leadership skills that lead to development of a strong multidisciplinary research program in applied biomechanics and rehabilitation engineering.
