About The Position

This is a full-time calendar year position limited to October 18, 2025 with anticipated renewal. Under minimal supervision, perform routine and non-routine field research and collection, reporting, and analysis of data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental or wildlife science (e.g., Wildlife & Conservation Biology, Environmental Science & Management).
  • Minimum of three years of experience in environmental or wildlife science field surveys and data collection.
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with diverse groups/populations.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify coastal waterbird species.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and non-routine field research and collection and reporting of data.
  • Assist in performing field research and collection, reporting, and analysis of data.
  • Handle and maintain technical field instruments (e.g., scopes and binocular equipment, field collection of biological samples) required for completing field research work.
  • Perform other routine duties as required.
