The Research Assistant II assists with research work tasks of moderate-complexity in support of a research project under moderate supervision. May assist with ordering equipment and supplies, set up of equipment, performing experiments, monitoring results, data collection, preparation of support materials, etc. May supervise students. Additional Department Summary: Applications are invited for a Research Assistant II position in NIH-funded functional neuroimaging studies. Our research combines fMRI, EEG/ERP, psychophysiology, eye-tracking, and behavioral methods to investigate the computational and neural mechanisms underlying decision-making and reinforcement learning in smoking behavior. Primary supervision will be provided by Lark Lim, Ph.D. (Lim Lab for Affective Neuroscience and Neuroeconomics; http://www.llann.org) in collaboration with other co-investigators. The Research Assistant II will assist the PI and research team members in various aspects of the project, including participant recruitment, phone screening, obtaining informed consent, data collection and management, data analysis, research website and social media management, Institutional Review Board (IRB) protocol maintenance, and other research duties as assigned.
