This position will support an ongoing NIH-funded study examining whether music training and cognitive training improve outcomes for children with fetal alcohol spectrum disorder. Duties will include help with participant recruitment with some off-hours community event recruitment, data collection, data curation, participant scheduling and integration with the study team including the music teachers and other study staff. This longitudinal study examines changes in cognition, behavior and brain function and structure. You will be trained in data collection techniques for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and magnetoencephalography (MEG). The Mind Research Network is division of Lovelace dedicated to advancing the diagnosis and treatment of mental illness and brain injury.
