The HSS Spine Development and Regeneration Lab aims to enhance clinical care through discoveries from basic and translational research conducted in Dr. Dahia’s Lab. Under the supervision of the Principal Investigator, the Research Assistant will help conduct experiments involving clinical samples and genetic mice, including pain behavior and imaging studies, cell, and molecular biology experiments including cryosectioning, immunostaining and fluorescence microscopy, RNA in situs, RNA isolation, qPCR, and high throughput sequence analysis, data processing and statistical analysis. This individual will be an integral member of the research team in compliance with all regulatory, institutional, and departmental requirements. The candidate will play an integral role in day-to-day research activities in the lab and will be responsible for maintaining proper detailed laboratory records, data, databases and report timely to the Principal Investigator.
