About The Position

The Research Assistant will be involved in immunology oncology research, encompassing various responsibilities such as maintaining the flow cytometer, mouse husbandry, assisting with molecule and cell biology experiments, and participating in in vivo murine tumor model studies. Working under general supervision, the individual will conduct research independently and in collaboration with others. This may include performing experiments, interpreting and analyzing results, troubleshooting methods and procedures, and contributing to experimental design. Other related duties and responsibilities may be assigned as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in biology, chemical biology, cell biology, immunology or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of experience; Master's degree with 0-2 years of experience
  • Experience with murine models
  • Training in multi-color flow cytometry and mouse disease models

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the flow cytometer
  • Conduct mouse husbandry
