About The Position

The position involves providing responsible and skilled technical assistance in performing assignments related to medical and scientific research. The laboratory focuses on investigating genetic programs in the brain, particularly how chemical modifications on chromatin regulate brain development and disease. The research technician will analyze novel mouse models of autism using molecular, biochemical, and genomic approaches, and will be trained in all experimental and bioinformatic techniques used in the research. Responsibilities also include mouse colony management and general lab management, requiring efficient organizational skills, attention to detail, accurate record keeping, and effective communication skills.
