  • Ability to draft figures and manuscripts.
  • Generic laboratory skills and comfort with handling and working with mice.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct laboratory experiments under the supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI).
  • Perform experiments including production and isolation of extracellular vesicles, immunohistochemistry, western blotting, tissue imaging, and mouse surgeries.
  • Maintain and manage animal colonies, including genotyping and postoperative care.
  • Conduct literature searches and summaries to aid in planning laboratory experiments.
  • Interact with core facilities for processing tissue or other experimental samples.
  • Collect, analyze, and summarize experimental data into graphs and presentation formats, assisting with publications.
  • Assist in finding and ordering equipment suited for conducting proposed research.
  • Participate in lab maintenance activities to keep a clean and organized laboratory environment.
  • Accurately document experiments in laboratory notebooks to allow replication by others.
