The Heart Failure Program at the Mass General Brigham Heart and Vascular Institute is seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant to join a multidisciplinary team developing and testing artificial intelligence (AI) approaches to improve care for patients with heart failure. Working under the supervision of physician-scientists and data scientists, the RA will support clinical studies at the intersection of cardiology, data science, and digital health. This includes recruiting with patients, organizing study data, coordinating study visits, and helping ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of ongoing research projects. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to gain first-hand experience in AI-enabled clinical research within the Mass General Brigham system—one of the nation’s leading academic medical centers. The RA will learn how AI models are developed, validated, and implemented in real-world hospital settings, while working directly with clinicians, research fellows, and engineers. Team members are encouraged to participate actively in study meetings, quality improvement efforts, and manuscript or abstract preparation. The position provides excellent preparation for medical school, graduate study in public health or biomedical data science, or careers in clinical research and healthcare innovation.
