About The Position

Deciphering physical chemistry of oils: Holography. Use laser holography to observe combined materials in water, characterizing interactions among oil particles in mixtures as well as particles with different surface coatings in suspension. Quantitative analysis of oil particles and droplets ranging from approximately 1 to 200 μm in size. Compare laser-based measurements with traditional high‑resolution microscopy techniques.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• B.Sc. in Chemistry or Physics
• Knowledge of lasers
• Experience in holography
• Experience in Artificial Intelligence
• To work at McGill University, you must be both authorized to work in Canada and willing to work in the province of Quebec at the campus where the position is based / located.
• English communication both verbally and in writing.
