About The Position

The Research Analyst-MRR position at Sawdey Solution Services involves monitoring and analyzing changes to technical directives related to logistics support for USCG aircraft. The role requires conducting market research, generating technical documentation, and coordinating with government entities to ensure compliance with established guidelines. The analyst will also be responsible for writing and reviewing various technical publications and specifications, as well as providing data and recommendations for maintenance processes.

Requirements

  • Ten (10) years of H-60 maintenance experience.
  • Experience developing and writing maintenance cards, including schematics and figures.
  • Experience submitting aeronautical publication change recommendations to correct/update MPCs and other publications.
  • Experience writing engineering specifications including schematics and figures for documenting approved depot-level repairs and processes.
  • Knowledge of routing maintenance task processes for PDM.
  • Experience working on complex projects requiring thorough research and coordination with engineering personnel.
  • Experience researching and analyzing information in an aircraft's maintenance records.
  • Maintenance experience includes either mechanical or engineering technician positions.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor changes to OEM, USCG and other services technical directives relating to logistics support.
  • Submit recommendations for action to the applicable engineering cell leader for Government action.
  • Track and provide status of approved recommendations through implementation.
  • Conduct market research to collect and assemble information including technical data packages, price, availability, and vendor capabilities.
  • Coordinate efforts with Government for additional site surveys.
  • Write, review, and update policy, procedure, and process documents including technical manuals and process guides.
  • Generate SICRs for applicable aircraft parts and submit with backup documentation to the Government.
  • Generate TCTOs for applicable aircraft sub-systems and assist in validation and verification of TCTOs.
  • Review ACCB packages and execute Service Requests as per established procedures.
  • Write MPCs to enable technicians to sustain the aircraft properly.
  • Write engineering specifications, including schematics and figures for depot-level repairs and processes.
  • Review CG-22s recommendations for change to aeronautical publications for applicability and relevance.
  • Participate in meetings for technical, production, or programmatic issues and provide ad hoc data as needed.
