About The Position
The Behavioral Sleep Medicine Laboratory (P.I. Kelly Baron, PhD, MPH ) is recruiting a full time research assistant for NIH funded research studies of sleep/circadian rhythms, aging and metabolism to assist with data collection in ongoing lab projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related scientific field, or equivalency, plus two years of related experience.
- Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills required.
- A valid Utah Driver’s License may be required in certain departments.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with the study team to meet goals for participant recruitment and screening.
- Schedules and conducts study assessments, including administration of questionnaires and cognitive assessments, sleep measurement equipment set up and download.
- Complies with ethical standards for research involving human subjects.
- Completes other activities as delegated by the PI and the project director.
- Opportunities to contribute to scientific manuscripts and abstracts.
