Knowledge Services’ Corporate Headquarters is currently seeking a contract, full-time “Research Analyst.” If you enjoy working with people, have a strong attention to detail, and possess the ability to prioritize and be task oriented, this is the job for you! Knowledge Services is seeking self-motivated, reliable people as Research Analysts. Research Analyst’s will be administering phone interviews for the BRFSS, a state-wide research project about U.S. residents’ health-related risk behaviors, chronic health conditions, and use of preventive services. In the role of Research Analyst, you will contact individuals via phone to explain the survey, administer the survey for participants, and document all acquired data into an internal database system. Interviewers will carefully administer the developed research questionnaires via telephone to respondents (people) in Michigan from all walks of life. Research Analyst Attributes: Professionalism – a confident, businesslike presentation and strong delivery are vital to ensure participants are willing to participate in the survey. Attention to detail – strong attention to detail, including following scripts closely, and accurate data entry throughout the survey Enthusiasm – the Research Analyst’s interest in the survey, or lack thereof, will be immediately conveyed to the participant; if the Research Analyst doesn’t seem interested in the survey, the participant likely won’t either. Technical Literacy – a Research Analyst must have the necessary technical skills to effectively operate a PC, enter data into a database and use Microsoft Office Suites. Communication – the Research Analyst must have strong communication skills to effectively communicate with survey respondents and other team members.
