About The Position

The Research Analyst will lead research functions in the Phoenix, AZ office of Colliers, focusing on building relationships with real estate advisors and managing comprehensive commercial real estate market data. This hybrid role involves collaborating with marketing to create materials for business development, responding to advisor inquiries, and training staff on research resources.

Requirements

• 2+ years of research experience in a similar industry.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Business, Economics, Statistics).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical skills and experience using a research database.
• Ability to calculate and analyze key metrics and indicators (vacancy, absorption, inventory, deliveries, cap rates, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Aggregate, standardize, and expand disparate data sets.
• Maintain, verify, and update multiple databases across various service lines.
• Provide timely and reliable statistical information on commercial properties, including availability and vacancy rates, lease rates, absorption trends, and economic trends.
• Assist in collecting, analyzing, and producing quarterly and annual market reports adhering to corporate standards.
• Conduct field research to confirm and enhance market information, verify tenant movement, and monitor new developments.
• Function as a resource to brokers and staff for special projects requiring data compilation.
