About The Position

The Research Analyst at POLITICO will support various initiatives including consumer strategy, product development, and advertiser research. This role is integral to the Research and Insights team, focusing on conducting brand lift studies and primary research projects to provide insights that drive business development and product innovation.

Requirements

• 1+ years of professional and/or internship experience with primary research methodologies.
• Proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data visualizations).
• Proficiency in PowerPoint to present data clearly and effectively.
• Familiarity with research tools such as Qualtrics and SPSS strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of online advertising operations is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present structured information clearly and tailor messages to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist in scoping, designing and developing survey projects to align with research objectives.
• Draft/create survey instruments (e.g., questionnaires and discussion guides).
• Support and monitor data collection processes, ensuring high-quality and reliable data.
• Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify key patterns and develop actionable insights.
• Develop client-facing presentations to effectively communicate research findings.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure successful execution of research projects.
• Assist in managing engagement with POLITICO's proprietary influencer research panel.
• Maintain and improve research resources across teams.
