About The Position
The Research Analyst IV (RAIV) position is situated within the Public Health Services (PHS) and will plan and manage data projects to guide evidence-driven program planning and decision-making for a range of PHS programs. The RAIV will utilize statistical and analytical methods to evaluate programs, and interpret data to communicate findings to a variety of stakeholders. Duties may include, but are not limited to: designing and implementing public health research and evaluation studies using appropriate data management and statistical methodologies, conducting trend analysis to identify patterns and project future outcomes, designing and creating data visualization tools (e.g., dashboards and reports) and effectively communicating data findings, interpretation of data, and recommendations to a diverse range of audiences and stakeholders, creating presentations and reports to convey complex data into concise and actionable insights, designing and developing data collection tools and/or maintaining management systems to align with grantor, Federal, State, and Local agency reporting requirements, providing technical assistance, cross-training and building data capacity across PHS divisions, and training staff and/or project team members as assigned.
