S&P Global Energy is seeking candidates for our 10-week IMPACT Summer Internship Program from June 2026 within our  Research and Analytics business.   • Conduct research and analyze market trends in energy and climate sectors.
  • Support modelling efforts and collaborate with global analysts.
  • Utilize tools like Python, Power BI, and Excel for data structuring and visualization.
  • Participate in policy evaluation and data management tasks.
  • Engage with industry experts to gain insights into energy transition dynamics.
  • Please note that only candidates who are US citizens or green card holders will be considered for this position.
  • Current undergraduate or graduate student graduating May 2027.
  • Must be available for internship from June 1st - August 7th.
  • Educational background in Environmental Studies, Energy Economics, Sustainability, Energy Policy, and related studies are preferred.
  • Must have experience or strong interest in commodities, energy global markets and overall interconnected energy business ecosystem.
  • Strong quantitative skills and research background , including experience using Excel and /or other data analytics tools.
  • Familiarity using Generative AI tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Intellectual curiosity and strong desire to learn and explore new ideas.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in market analysis or policy evaluation.
  • Familiarity with energy markets, climate solutions, and sustainable strategies.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
