Responsibilities We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Research Analyst III/Senior Research Analyst in the Vehicle Research Facility to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess solid, hands-on, general knowledge of automobiles, automobile repair and automotive systems, paired with exceptional communication skills. This role requires the ability to effectively liaise with senior leadership and various departments, conveying complex technical information clearly both verbally and in writing. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation of vehicle systems, and components within the research facility. Collaborate with Vehicle OEMs to support vehicle development projects. Interpret and summarize technical data, reports, and test results for various stakeholders. Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and documentation for executive leadership and cross-functional teams. Communicate complex automotive concepts clearly and professionally to senior management and non-technical audiences. Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the enhancement of research methodologies. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies. Periodic travel to various industry events, training, and vehicle manufacturers Operation of a company vehicle

Requirements

  • Solid, hands-on general knowledge of automobiles, including body structural repair, mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
  • Proven experience in vehicle research, testing, or analysis environment is preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage with top-level executives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Proficiency with relevant software tools and data analysis platforms is a plus.
  • Bachelors in an automotive related discipline or 10 years of related automotive technical experience.

  • Estimatics experience a plus.

  • Potential starting salary range: $80,600 - $92,000
  • Starting salary will be based on skills, background, and experience
  • High end of the range limited to applicants with significant relevant experience
